Children's Book

“Drawing from the darkness, speaking in color.”
Bio
“Art saved me. Art can save us all.”
M.K. Addison makes illustration as Ghost Shadows — a swirling fusion of abstract surrealism and cosmic storytelling. His characters are humanoid but wildly altered, emerging from emotionally charged settings somewhere between dystopia and transcendence.
A pure creator shaped by immersion rather than instruction, he moved from analog to digital after years of spotting forms in puddles, cracks, and coffee spills — capturing them on his phone and drawing over them, first with a finger and then with Procreate on an iPad. His work draws on Sue Coe, Ralph Steadman, Adolf Dehn, and Brandon Boyd. A children's book, The Light in the Forest, is in progress.
